Who's Involved

Simon Wingett
Art dealer Simon was inspired to help raise money for cancer charities through his own experiences of having a family member suffer from the illness. He is also extremely passionate  about putting Wales on the world tourism and business map.

Steve Winterburn
Artist, Steve Winterburn, drew up the very first concepts and it is from his drawings that we will eventually create the bronze dragon sculpture.

Fotofire Limited
Wrexham and Chester web design and marketing company, Fotofire, have been instrumental in the presentation of the project online and to the media.

Infinite 3D  
Produced the computer generated model and images of the dragon, tower and visitor centre, as well as the CGI walkthrough. Working closely with Simon, the architects and sculptor they have helped illustrate the scale of the completed vision.



Gifford LLP  
Environmental, Structural and Building Services Engineering company Gifford LLP have been working closely with Simon and have been instrumental in bringing the project forward.  Gifford will be providing multi-disciplinary engineering support and managing the project through the planning process. 



TACP Architects
TACP architects of Wrexham and Cardiff have worked with Simon Wingett to deliver a stunning architectural concept for the cultural centre and the Dragon tower itself and will now be developing the architectural and landscape designs for the planning application and beyond.



Pochin Construction  
Best known in North Wales at present for the on-going construction of the Welsh Assembly buildings at Llandudno Junction, Pochin have a strong reputation throughout North Wales and beyond. Pochin will carry out the construction work on the tower.

Salus Consulting  
North Wales experts in Health and Safety. They are working as part of the team to ensure that the project is safe and secure.

Airbus
Leading aircraft manufacturers Airbus have agreed to help with the construction of the giant Welsh Dragon Sculpture. Their experience of producing large aircraft will be invaluable when it comes to producing the giant wings of the dragon.
